Each program has its own classroom equipped with toys and books for children to play and learn. Teachers begin to introduce more sophisticated rules and social skills to the students. Project-oriented circle time provides opportunities for the children to train their brains and practice learning skills.
Our experienced teaching staff design and refresh curriculum frequently to engage, excite, and challenge the children. Once a week, we are joined by movement and dance specialists. We also join a weekly intergenerational music program with residents at Mount Pleasant Home that offers a wonderful environment for children can learn through dancing and rhythm. Children in the preschool room regularly go on field trips to expand their activities.
